What You Will Be Doing
The Cybersecurity Architect will support the Secretary of the Air Force Concepts, Development and Management Office (SAF/CDM) Mission Partner Capabilities Office (MPCO). The candidate will assist in providing DoD-wide enterprise level development, integration, systems engineering and synchronized delivery of mission capabilities and DoD-wide enterprise services that support interagency, strategic, allied, multinational, coalition, joint and combined Command and Control (C2) and intelligence coalition information sharing requirements.
The Cybersecurity Architect will support the Secretary of the Air Force Concepts, Development and Management Office (SAF/CDM) Mission Partner Capabilities Office (MPCO). The candidate will assist in providing DoD-wide enterprise level development, integration, systems engineering and synchronized delivery of mission capabilities and DoD-wide enterprise services that support interagency, strategic, allied, multinational, coalition, joint and combined Command and Control (C2) and intelligence coalition information sharing requirements. Requirements * Coordinate, communicate and follow up with government and Contractor personnel on cyber-related tasks and deliverables to ensure the Division's activities stay on track. * Update and manage the Division's calendar, Points of Contact List, Email Distribution List, Tasker Tracker and cybersecurity document repositories/portals. * Create documentation and customer support guides for the implementation of Division processes, improve existing documentation and provide proposals that innovate new ways (people, process, and technology) to achieve the Division's objectives. Document and publish templates and "how to" instructions that enable the Division to run smoothly. * Provide process improvement strategic plan and milestones for government approval to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the Division's daily operations. * Facilitate and contribute to Division working groups, teleconferences, technical exchange meetings and battle rhythm meetings by taking notes and distributing them to stakeholders. * Support multinational engagements to include reviewing governance documents, analyzing US and Foreign Partner cybersecurity requirements and providing recommendations to ensure alignment with standards defined by coalition information sharing working groups (NATO, Federated Mission Networking (FMN), CFBLNet Security Working Group, etc.). * Work with the MPCO's Information Manager/Knowledge Manager and web developer personnel to ensure the calendar, tasker tracker, and repositories/portals conform to MPCO standards. Functional Requirements: * Experience in cybersecurity-related field. * Experience with Security+ or equivalent certification is required; CISSP is desirable. * Experience in coalition operations and/or bilateral military information sharing efforts is a plus. Knowledge and application of DoD, CJCS and Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) security-related policies and guidance. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and other office automation products for producing presentations, portals, documents, spreadsheets, etc. * Experience as a staff officer on DoD, CCMD, Joint, Service Staff in the Communications & Information office (e.g., A6, J6, N6), or equivalent.
