MEAT/SEAFOOD SALES CLERKS (FT/PT) provide polite greetings and interactions with all customers; create a selling environment using selling skills; assist in product receiving, inventory and storage; price, stock, and rotate product; maintain safety/sanitation standards in all meat product areas; communicate shrink issues and customer concerns/requests to management; comply with Company standards and all state and federal laws; maintain positive working relationships with other Associates; make PA announcements; and perform all other duties as assigned by management. The Meat/Seafood Sales Clerk reports directly to the Meat Manager.

 

QUALIFICATIONS-

  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
  • Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner and to comply with Company policies and safety regulations.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to lift 25lbs. consistently and 50lbs. occasionally
  • Should possess good interpersonal skills, effective selling skills, and have an outgoing personality.
  • Ability to work well with others.  Ability to sell and interact with customers.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work in a cold environment.

 

PRIMARY ROLE-

  • Receive deliveries, breakdown loads, rotate cooler
  • Weighing, pricing, labeling
  • Stocking cases
  • Prepare valued-added products
  • Customer Service
  • Sanitation
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management
  • Process cuts for Service Counter or Special Orders
  • Set service case

 

Required qualifications:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred qualifications:

  • 18 years or older
  • Able to comfortably lift 30 lbs
