Serves as primary assistant in writing, scheduling and managing content for all divisional social media channels. The primary accounts managed from this office include but are not limited to Center for Student Involvement and Inclusion and University Recreation.

Student Assistant duties:

Create media and content that will engage the UWG community and student body. Analytics of social media will be gathered weekly.

Will adhere to the brand guidelines and AP style writing including proper grammar and spelling in every message.

Responsible for making sure messages are consistent across all platforms.

Responsible for managing distribution and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Must be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours.

Must have a cumulative 2.0 grade-point average.

Must have really good oral and written communication.

Must have good time management, be self-sufficient, and an independent worker.

Access to social media.

Experience in writing captions.

Preferred Qualifications

Two years of experience is preferred but not required.

Working toward a marketing, communications, public relations, or related degree.

Photography and/or design experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand on feet for 2-3 hours at a time.

Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
