JOB DESCRIPTION : Secretary of the Air Force Acquisition Integration Directorate requires business analyst support with Air Force Acquisition program strategy, program funding planning and execution, and program management experience. Aeyon is seeking a business analyst for 12 months. The successful candidate will have a variety of program management office (PMO) experiences working in major defense acquisition programs. Experience with Middle Tier of Acquisition (MTA), other Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF) pathways, and experience in Headquarters Air Force is highly desirable. The business analysts will support the Secretary of the Air Force Acquisition Integration (SAF/AQX) Directorate and integrate across SAF/AQX Divisions. Position Responsibilities: Analyze the current acquisition portfolio, processes, and products of the Client, conduct analyses to advise and support the restructuring of those processes around the DAF's 7 operational imperatives, which are critical operational capabilities and functions to deter conflict and project power against pacing challenges. Analyze the effects of new statutes and regulations on existing policy and guidance to support prioritization and increase operational agility of new acquisition capabilities that produce an operational decisive advantage through an early-to-need acquisition lifecycle. Maintain cognizance of pending legislation to support the assessment of issues and opportunities, support the development and coordination of responses, and senior leader engagement and direction into parallel processes (i.e., PPBE). Support portfolio management teams and acquisition process reform teams to integrate these changes into strategic action plans for changing business processes. Support Budget and Contracts teams to develop integrated program plans ensuring linkage between Program budget and execution. Support the generation of budget-capability papers (e.g., unfunded requirements). Interact with senior leaders daily to provide development and trade space recommendations. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS : SECRET REQUIRED EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS : Mandatory: Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Sciences, or Business . CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : Waivable/Substitutable: DAWIA certification or meeting equivalent requirements in Program Management or other DAWIA certifications are desired. PMP® or other relevant certification is desirable and may be used to substitute some requirements of DAWIA. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 10+ years of program management, development & acquisition management, and solution delivery of cross-functional projects and programs. A Senior Manager to Executive-level technical, acquisition manager, or analyst experience. Skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Sound understanding of incremental delivery and the value of metrics. Strong project management, delivery process/methodology, and project management tools. Strong knowledge of policy and strategy with hands-on experience. Ability to quickly grasp the impact of new legislation and policy, determine the impact on existing plans, and recommend alternate strategies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Desired - background in federal/defense decisions support systems; data analysis/performance measurement; modeling programmatic (cost/schedule/performance/risk); training and education; design and delivery (In person and virtual); portfolio/program/project leadership/management; strategy implementation & leading change; requirements analysis; system functional design/development, testing, and implementation. Desired - Proficient with data reporting, analysis, and management systems. Experience with Project Management Resource Tools (PMRT), Defense Acquisition Management Information Retrieval (DAMIR), and the Defense Acquisition Visibility Environment (DAVE).
