Located near Des Moines, Iowa Speedway joined the NASCAR family of tracks in 2013. Known as the "Fastest Short Track on the Plant", Iowa Speedway plays host to three major race weekends a year, welcoming the NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series and IndyCar. The track was designed by NASCAR Hall of Famer Rusty Wallace.

Iowa Speedway is seeking certified Paramedic professionals that will interact with our guests and professional racing team participants during racing events.
Essential Functions:
- Perform EMS response functions. Shifts range from 6-16 hours depending on the event.
- Practice and maintain a professional appearance and work ethic.
Required Certifications:
- Current State of Iowa EMT Basic OR Paramedic Certificate Current BLS CPR card (ASHI, American Red Cross and American Heart accepted)
- Current ACLS card (Paramedics) (ASHI, American Red Cross and American Heart accepted)
- PALS or PEPP cert preferred, but not required (Paramedics)

Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Iowa Driver's License
- Must successfully pass a driving record check.
- Must attend mandatory annual training and complete required online training initially and annually as a condition of employment.
- Minimum age 21 years old.
- Preference will be given to candidates that have a verifiable affiliation with a Iowa Public Safety or Fire/EMS Agency.
- Strong communication skills including written reports.
- Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
- Must be familiar with National Incident Management System and chain of command.
