Description:
A national engineering consulting firm that has a location in the Twin Cities is looking for a Civil Designer that can be an addition to their water resource team. The team is working on federal projects. The position will be using AutoCAD and MicroStation to design civil layouts, create grading plans for utility, road and structural plans for each project. Majority of the project load will be for lock and Dam improvements as well as FEMA projects across the country. They will be working on the profile sheets, framing, foundations and materials sheet. Some additional duties:- Provide the layout and preliminary design of each project-Revise or create drawings work on redlined drawings with each project manager or engineer as well follow task leads -Develop the grading, utility, roadway and structural plans -Support in the field if needed on each assignment -CAD standard check electronically and self-visual
