We are currently offering a $5,000 Sign On Bonus at hire for candidates meeting specialty experience bonus requirements

Clovis Community Medical Center opened at its current location as a 109-bed hospital in 1988. Since then, there's been nothing but growth. Today, Clovis Community has 208 private patient rooms and another 144 under construction. We've added a $68 million freestanding Cancer Institute and other specialty programs and now perform more than 13,000 surgeries annually.

Responsibilities: The Charge Nurse assists the Clinical Supervisor by serving as primary liaison for an assigned care area with physicians, staff, patients, and families. Responsible for coordinating patient flow and staff assignments and the oversight of patient safety, quality, and regulatory activities on the assigned shift.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
MINIMUM REQUIRED:
  • Two (2) years' experience as a Staff RN in the area of assignment or demonstrated competency by achieving a minimum 35 points on RN Competency Model Evaluation form.
  • Six (6) months experience as a Relief Charge RN or in a team leadership role.


PREFERRED: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM REQUIRED:
  • Current CA Registered Nurse License.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Certifications as required for the unit.
