Day (United States of America)Nurse clinician with NYS RN license with demonstrated clinical competence and in depth knowledge in Cardiac services. This role will creates a collegial and collaborative environment among all members of the healthcare team and demonstrate effective leadership, teaching, research and communication skills.
The best candidate must demonstrate responsibility and accountability for decisions. Utilizes problem-solving and decision-making skills. Coaches and mentors staff. Researches and develops specialty specific practice standards and communicates them to other staff in their area of specialty.

• Demonstrates the advanced knowledge and skills required for specialty nursing.
• Responsible and accountable for the development and application of specialty practice standards, staff development, regulatory compliance and research to enhance the quality of care to the patient and the patient’s family.
• As an advanced practitioner, the CNS is essential to the management of complex patient and systems related issues.
