Blender

Job Description:

In this role, you are responsible for manufacturing lubricant products according to approved formulas. You will submit samples to Q.C. Lab for approval, transfer finished product to the appropriate storage tank, and unload railcars and bulk transports of raw material. You will monitor inventory of all bulk-stored raw materials and finished products by gauging tanks.

You are the primary backup to Lead Blender assuming the Role of Lead Blender and responsibilities. You will load bulk transports in the finished product as the backup loader, assist in the production of other departments as needed, clean tanks, and blend kettles.

You will maintain a clean and safe work environment and implement all ISO-9001 procedures.

• Responsible for implementing the blending of lubricant products according to approved formula. Recommends and implements blending enhancements as needed to meet finished product specifications. Submit sample to Q.C. lab for testing.

• Responsible for pumping blended product into designated storage tanks to assure the integrity of the product for continuous operation of the bulk shipping and packaging departments.

• Responsible for unloading railcars and bulk transports of raw material into correct tanks to protect the integrity of raw materials.

• Responsible for gauging raw materials and finished product inventory bulk storage tanks.

• Cross trained as bulk loader, backup for loading bulk transports of finished product according to procedure.

• Cross trained to assumes the Role of Lead Blender and responsibilities in accordance with procedures.

• Assist in packaging, and other departments as needed. Operates packaging and mobile equipment.

• Maintain a safe work environment to ensure that all regulations are met.

• Implement all ISO-9001 procedures to assure that ISO certification is maintained.

• Cleans tanks and blending kettles to ensure integrity of product.

You should be proficient in:

• ISO 9001 Certification Experience
• Packaging Experience
