Overview Enterprise Application Support utilizes tools to update and configure applications within the desktop environment. Including but not limited to; Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Microsoft Endpoint Manager, BMC's IT Service Management (ITSM) Suite, BMC Configuration Management Database, and BMC Discovery: (formerly Atrium Discovery and Dependency Mapping (ADDM) software to supports the agency's asset management and change management. BMC Discovery is used to conduct end-to-end discovery of all of DeCA's physical, virtual, and application assets. Utilize Azure, Ticket application and BMC Discovery work in tandem to provide service desk management, change management, asset management, knowledge management, and service request management throughout day-to-day agency support. Responsibilities * Provide end user support for applications and assets, and supports asset management. * End user training and support, Asset Management for software licenses, leases, warranty, and support contracts. Knowledge/Experience must include: * Customer Service/Support * Windows/MacOS/Linux/Unix/Chrome/Android * Atrium Discovery and Dependency Mapping (ADDM) * IT Service Management (e.g. BMC Remedy/ServiceNow/Solarwinds/Jira/Ivanti) * Endpoint Management (e.g. MS Endpoint Manager/Ivanti/Atera/ManageEngine/Hexnode) * Oracle/SQL/Configuration Management Database (CMDB) * HTML/Web Services/MS IIS/Web Forms * System Administration * Network Administration * Application Development * Microsoft Office Suite incl. SharePoint * Cloud Infrastructure (e.g. Compute/Network/Storage/Backup) * Familiarity with SaaS, PaaS, IaaS Solutions * Scripting Languages (e.g. Python/PowerShell/Java/Bash/VBA) * Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) * Ticketing System Experience (e.g. BMC Remedy/ServiceNow/SolarWinds/Ivanti) * Excellent Oral/Written Communication Qualifications * Associates Degree or HS/GED + 3 yrs in Windows Computing Environment * Baseline Certification (required): CompTIA Security+ CE / CySA+ / SSCP / GSEC * Computing Environment Certification in at least 1 area (required): * CompTIA: ITF+, A+ CE, Network+ CE * Microsoft: Microsoft M365 Fundamentals, Windows OS Fundamentals * HDI: Desktop Support Technician, Support Center Analyst * Training (required): Must complete an ITIL Course (ITIL v4 recommended) * Minimum Secret Clearance
