Data Science Developer

Youall develop algorithms and systems and use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn sets of disparate data points into objective answers to help clients make informed decisions. You Have:aA

  • 3+ years of experience with JavaScript, Python scripting, HTML, or CSS

  • 2+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, database solutioning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining

  • Experience with developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualization of targeted data sources

  • Ability to comprehend stakeholder needs effectively, communicate development plans, and track progress milestones

  • Ability to navigate a complex matrix environment and manage competing priorities

  • Ability to obtain a security clearanceA

  • Bacheloras degree

Nice If You Have:aA

  • 2+ years of experience in the development of algorithms leveraging R, Python, or SQL and NoSQL

  • 2+ years of experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis

  • 2+ years of experience with Distributed data and computing tools, including MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, and MySQL

  • Experience with analyzing structured and unstructured data sources

  • Experience with web technologies, including Node.js

  • Knowledge of analytics and visualization tools, including Tableau, Power BI, or R Shiny

  • Possession of excellent critical thinking skills to assess numbers, trends, and data to reach new conclusions based on findings

  • Possession of excellent quantitative skills, including statistical analysis, process design, and data management

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individualas particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allenas total compensation package for employees.
