Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED Preferred. Life experience with the service systems utilized by the target population. Valid NYS Driver's License preferred. Supervisory Role:This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Principal Responsibilities:The below enumerated principal responsibilities are inclusive of both program specific and firm-wide related administration, as applicable.Assist the team in giving clients information about the program and it's benefits.Assist with obtaining necessary client information to ensure appropriate services.Participate in case conferences, schedule appointments for clients and follow-up on appointment attendance.Facilitate or co-facilitate groups and workshops.Escort clients to appointments/referrals and assist with transportation. Expected Results of Principal Responsibilities:Clients will have an understanding of the program and community services.Provides a positive role model for clients.Enhances interactions between clients, the clinical team and linkages leading to effective services and outcomes. Clients will be successfully connected to services.Assist with creating a therapeutic and learning environment for clients.Ensure clients meet the needs of the client responsibility for appointments and services Related duties are performed completely, on time and accurate. Work Environment:While performing the duties of the job, the employee will be in an office and transitional housing shelter environment. Activities occur inside and outside. Physical Demands:While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to have visual acuity, talk and hear while communicating with peers, clients and/or vendors. This position requires sitting, standing and walking. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move items up to 20 pounds.
