Program Cost Affordability Analyst

The Opportunity:

Do you love solving problems? Are you passionate about exploring the root cause of an issue and then analyzing, reporting, and developing recommendations for a creative solution? On our Common Control System team, you'll evaluate data assessment strategies including Program Cost Affordability Analysis to deliver solutions.

You won't go at it alone; you'll work alongside a great team of experts to conduct research, prepare graphs and charts, and analyze and interpret programmatic or cost data, including Life Cycle Cost Models and Estimates, Cost Benefit Analysis, and what-if analysis economic studies. Once documented, you'll develop program briefs, documentations, presentations, and graphs to present results, collaborate with stakeholders, and participate in various program meetings to improve program efficiency.

You Have:

  • Experience with the development of a cost strategy for a program

  • Knowledge of the establishment of realistic affordability caps as documented in the program's Acquisition Program Baseline (APB)

  • Ability to enable continuous monitoring of program life-cycle costs with respect to affordability caps across the system life cycle

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
