RN TRIAGE OFFICE NURSE GASTROENTEROLOGY (GI) Edward-Elmhurst Medical Group Full-time, DAYs, 80 hours/pp## - 4 # 10 hour shifts!!# # Once fully trained, this position has an option to work 1-2 days remote.## CURRENTLY # NO WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS This is a 12 provider practice.# Office hours are MONDAY - FRIDAY 8a-7p.##This position is located at the Center for Health - Elmhurst. Under the direction of the Supervisor, RN TRIAGE OFFICE NURSE provides high quality nursing care for patients as identified by the standards of Nursing Practice and the Illinois State Nurse Practice Act.# Duties include:# phone triage, complete telephone colon screenings, assist patients with procedural questions, insurance pre-authorizations and follow-up, referrals, patient education and relaying of test results.# #Most of this position requires sedentary work, computer usage, and documentation in the EMR.# Note:# will be able to move to the 4 day work week after successful completion of orientation.# QUALIFICATIONS: BSN preferred, Current Illinois RN license and Current CPR for Healthcare Providers is required Office RN experience, preferred Prior work experience in a GI setting, highly preferred Experience with EMR, preferably EPIC Bilingual Spanish preferred Self-starter, able to handle periods of high stress Able to effectively communicate in English, both written # verbal Edward-Elmhurst Medical Group, creating one of the largest healthcare provider groups in the Chicago area.
