We are seeking a talented engineer that enjoys wholistic system thinking to support the system design and requirements (SDR) through the development, integration and verification activities for Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) programs.

This role will require occasional onsite support at Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control headquarters in Grand Prairie, TX working a 4/10 Flex schedule. This position requires a DoD Secret clearance, therefore, U.S. citizenship is required.

The RIG-360 program is looking for a Modeling and Simulation engineer to support both the digital performance simulation and hardware-in-the-loop simulations of an RF datalink system. Responsibilities will include development of models of system components, integration of those models into a high fidelity performance simulation, verification testing and validation efforts.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Expertise with C++ is required
• Current security clearance
• Willingness to work onsite in a classified lab environment
• Willingness to travel to partner, supplier, customer and test facilities as needed
• Clearance Requirements: US SECRET
Desired Skills:
• Prior experience with Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3)/IAMD modeling
• Experience with RF/Datalink modeling
• Experience developing and integrating real-time simulations (RTS)
• Experience with Agile development, air and missile defense, and international defense contracts are desired.
• Experience with Python
• FORTRAN experience is a plus
• Familiarity with Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) tools such as DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo is a plus

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
