Car Washer/Service Agent

We are urgently hiring for two open positions at our Penn Quarter - Washington DC location. We are looking for Service Agents/ Car Wash Attendants with the opportunity for immediate hire.

This full-time position offers compensation of $16.10 to $17.00 per hour with a 30-40 hours per week.

This posting is for the independent operator Nonda Enterprises/ Avis Budget Penn Quarter location – 616 E St. NW, Washington, DC, 20004

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall preparation of rental vehicles.
• Clean, sanitize, and vacuum vehicles interior.
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior - this might include cars of different sizes, as well as vans and trucks.
• Check fuel level and warning lights: inspect windshield for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle setting to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found; verify that registration is present, current and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
• Must have a current and valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 3 years
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• Apart from religious observations, must be able to commit a 40 hour workweek
