Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
Energy management and solar contractor with award-winning 10-year reputation in search of a Solar Installer. Responsibilities include repair and modification of existing energy systems, troubleshooting and diagnosis, upselling additional services. Systems serviced include solar energy, electrical service, micro grids. Experience in these areas helpful but not required. Strong troubleshooting ability, electrical/mechanical knowledge, customer service skills, a highly organized manner, and prior experience in field service are desired.

Responsibilities
-Repairsand modificationsof existing energy systems
-Troubleshooting and diagnosing
-Upselling additional services
-Providing a consistent customer experience that meets company expectations
-Leverage multiple software platforms to document and commutation work
-Work efficiently while maintaining OSHA compliance
-Maintaining company fleet stock and cleanliness
-Warehouse organization and cleanliness as assigned by supervisor
-General labor, including or not limited to carrying panelsand ladders, panel cleaning, site cleanup
Requirements
- 1+ years proven field service experience
- Electrical, Solar, HVAC, and/or Plumbing background is a huge plus.
- Highly organized and very attentive to detail
- Well-spoken, clean appearance and good client manners
- Clean driving record, valid license and ability to drive small and large service vehicles
- Drug free, willing to consent to background check
- Own and maintain personal electrical hand tools and basic cordless tools
- Ability to work 40-50 daytime hours per week
- Ability to increase ticket value with additional service sales is a plus
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Plumbing/Electrical/Roofing/Solar/Engineering training or education
- Solar/NABCEP/electrical certification
- OSHA 10 hour or other safety certification
- Field service software familiarity
Benefits
COMPENSATION and BENEFITS:
Salary starts at $20-30/hr based on qualifications, plus opportunities for sales bonuses. Benefits include majority-paid medical, dental, vision and matching 401K program. Earned paid time off starts at two weeks annually.
