Coordinates and administers the support for all leave of absence cases and workers' compensation claims. Effectively coordinates all cases/claims to include general administration, comprehensive case management and compliance with all Federal and State employment laws and compliance with all Parker programs. Performs exemplary customer service and assistance to all team members.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for all Leave and Benefit related Vendors, Administrators and Corporate Departments, to include but not limited to Leave Administrator, On Site Clinic, Workers Compensation Administrators and Legal teams, Answering Service, Corporate Benefits, Medical Providers and more.
  • Administers all forms of leave in compliance with Federal and State laws to include but not limited to the Family Medical Leave Act, ADA, HIPPAA and all other applicable laws.
  • Assumes responsibility as the primary subject matter expert for all Leave, Benefits and Compliance related items.
  • Tracks and updates applicable systems and spreadsheets regarding Leave of Absences (Medical, Personal, FMLA, Workers Comp. and Military), Time and Attendance and other HR related systems as they relate to time away from work.
  • Obtains and maintains medical records of employees on medical leaves of absence and obtains proper releases prior to employee's reinstatement. This includes obtaining doctor slips as required from employees in cases of extended illness, leave of absence, and accidents.
  • Works with EHS department in management of Workers Compensation cases, Return to Work Management and Accommodation Requests.
  • Monitors Absence Line call-ins for potential leave or workers comp cases.
  • Provides guidance to HR team for all Leave and Benefit related items.
  • Expected to keep current on all compliance and Parker related changes.
  • Responsible for monitoring worker's compensation case files.
  • May be called upon to render first-aid.
  • Assist with other HR functions on an as needed basis as directed by all HR Management. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field. Three years' experience in Human Resources administrating leaves and providing customer service. Well versed in FMLA and STD administration.
