A week in the life of the Systems UI/UX Developer includes: * Apply software development principles in a team environment to design and develop large-scale applications. * Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers * Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps * Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets * Build page navigation buttons and search fields * Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how the tactical system UI will function and look like * Create original graphic designs (e.g., images, sketches, and tables) * Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders * Identify and troubleshoot UI/UX problems (e.g., responsiveness) * Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback * Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images * Develop test plans and work closely with other developers during testing to identify and correct bugs. * Evaluate and develop enhancements to improve the reliability, performance, or other capabilities of our software applications Founded in 1975, AMERICAN SYSTEMS is one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United States.
