A week in the life of the Software Developer, Journeyman (Project Lead) includes: Project Management Responsibilities * Leads the software development, software integration, customer training, and demonstrations for the DevOps team. * Supervises and directs team personnel for day-to-day tasking. * Coordinates with customers, manages expectations for team deliverables, and ensures customer/stakeholder satisfaction. * Manages leadership expectations, reports potential risks, and communicates project status and team needs. * Ensures schedule and requirements are met. Degrees in Engineering, Math, and Physics may qualify with at least 3 years of software build and scripting experience. * At least three (3) years of professional experience as a Software, IT, or Systems Engineer * Project Management experience with small to medium sized teams * Presentation/briefing experience with strong written and verbal communication skills * Experience building and maintaining automated software development environments * Proficient with configuration management systems such as: Git * Proficient with integration tools such as: GitLab CI or Jenkins * Proficient in scripting languages such as: Bash, Batch or Python EOE Minorities/Women/Disabled/Veterans/Gender Identity/Sexual Orientation or EEO M/W/D/V/GI/SO
