A week in the life of anTechnical Support Specialist: * Collaboratewith network services, software systems engineering and/or application development in order to restore service and/or identify problems. * Maintains a troubleshooting tracking log ensuring timely resolution of problems. * Solves a range of technical problems requiring comprehensive technical education regarding matters of significant importance. * Exercises autonomous decision in evaluating and planning system, network, and IT security requirements. * Performs technical analysis of software, hardware, and network systems, front-end processors systems engineering, LAN/WAN communications, network nodesand various transmission systems. * Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. * Explains technical information to others in straightforward situations.
