WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Uses knowledge of company technology and business processes to identify opportunities to further leverage the technology within the business.
Consult with business functions to perform analysis to create business cases for projects.
Owns the business requirements and verification process.
Develop and solicit approval of SDLC documentation, and act as the subject matter expert for business partners on SDLC process.
Participates in the development and management of project plans related to the application development initiatives.
Develops requirements, specifications, test documentation, implementation, support, training and maintenance plans to ensure they are in line with business objectives on projects.
Aids in the remediation of defects encountered during QA testing.
Primary contact for researching root-cause and facilitating resolution of production errors
Performs other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or related discipline or combination of education and experience.
Three (3) to five (5) years' experience supporting software development projects as a BSA
The ability to act as liaison between technical and business teams
Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities
Understanding of the Agile methodology, code management, and software development lifecycles
Proactive attitude to seek out information necessary to develop solutions
Experience supporting development of applications in .NET/SQL Server environment preferred
Experience supporting applications running in the cloud (Microsoft Azure) preferred
Knowledge of database design and development in SQL Server preferred
Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint, JavaScript, Angular 2 (SPA), WCF, WebAPI, RESTful services, and nHibernate preferred
