QC Technician - Full-time

Do you like to learn through hands on experience, then apply this knowledge to manage multiple tasks, maintain data, and meet deadlines? Then this is the role for you! A rapidly growing Biotech company is looking for a QC Microbiological Analystto join their team.

This role is a one-year contract with the potential for extension or permanent hire.

What you need to know:

• Pay Rate: $21.00-23.00
• Schedule: Monday Friday / 2:00PM - 10:30PM
• On-site

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in a scientific discipline (preferred)
• Relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries preferred

On a typical day you will:

• Collect and prepare samples, aliquots, and reagents in support of testing using aseptic technique
• Perform and compile data for laboratory investigations into Laboratory Information Management System to ensure compliance with standards
• Perform cell culture, basic raw material, media, microbial ID, and utility testing
• Coordinates equipment, supplies, 5S organization, and maintenance; disposes of expired materials and laboratory waste
• Conducts temperature, environmental, and/or CO2 monitoring
