Psychiatric Nurse (RN) - Adults - Full-time

A healthcare network in North Carolina is currently seeking a new, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Psychiatric team at one of their facilities in Franklin County.



Responsibilities:



Working with the adult population, Psychiatric Nurse (RN) will be responsible for:

• Walking the floor


• Administering medications; helping with needles


• Assisting with admissions and discharges


• Mediating drama assessments


• Monitoring and documenting levels of function, health status, mental status


• Assisting the Physicians with other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in an Inpatient Psychiatric and/or Crisis Stabilization role/setting


• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing


• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license


• Experience working with the Adult population


• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills


• Patient oriented


• Great interpersonal skills


• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)


• Strong attention to detail


• Highly organized

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
