We are looking for an experienced Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our residential Team! Wellness Resource Center is a 54+ behavioral health treatment facility providing services to adults in an inpatient and outpatient basis. AVAILABLE SHIFT AND HOURS

All shifts and and days are available for a PRN or seasonal BHT looking for additional hours and shifts.

Here are some of the ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS of the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT):

• Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)s provide care and close supervision of facility patients and documenting behavior
• Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)s develop positive relationships with patients and co-workers
• Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)s follow facility policies and procedures implementing treatment plans and providing crisis intervention as necessary.
• Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)s actively participant as part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction
• Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)s act as a role model in using appropriate counseling skills by de-escalating aggression, using active listening skills, using appropriate tone and volume of voice, providing a high frequency and variety of positive reinforcements, maintaining appropriate boundaries, and promoting a positive peer culture.
