Clinical Educator (RN) - Full-time

A healthcare network in North Carolina is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their staff in Vance County as their newClinical Educator. In this role, the Clinical Educator (RN) will be responsible for planning, organizing, implementing,and evaluatingthe orientation, continuing education, and competency program for all personnel involved in the provision of patient care.



Responsibilities:



The Clinical Educator (RN) will:

• Conductlearning needs assessments for all clinical staff


• Collaboratewith the Nursing Directors and Nursing VP in planning, implementing, and evaluating orientation, competency and educational programs for the nursing staff


• Collaboratewith the Director of Education in the provision of non-clinical educational programs


• Assumeresponsibility for the New Graduate Nurse Internship Program, NETTU Program and Clinical rotations for local community college nursing programs


• Participatein the Nurse Recruitment Program, as requested

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of proven experience and expertise in Clinical Education


• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing


• Current NC Registered Nurse (RN) license


• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications


• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills


• Patient oriented


• Great interpersonal skills


• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)


• Strong attention to detail


• Highly organized

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing


• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
