Senior Drainage Engineer





Job Summary:



This position will provide drainage design and production services for roadway projects and drainage task assignments for the Department of Transportation (DOT).









Responsibilities:



-Collaborate with the Drainage Design Engineer in the preparation of calculations, plans production, reports, shop drawing review, immediate response projects and flooding complaint support



-Drainage connection permit review and database management and ERC drainage reviews



-Organize and manage a drainage design with an emphasis on maintaining DOT in house project schedules and budgets









Requirements:



-Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering



-At least 8 years of drainage design work experience with DOT projects



-Must be proficient in Microstation, GEOPAK Drainage or ASAD, ICPR, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS



-Experience with open and closed storm drain design, wet and dry stormwater management facilities, pond siting analysis, base clearance analysis, nutrient

loading analysis, and bridge hydraulic analysis



-Experience in 3D corridor modeling is a plus



-P.E. license highly preferred
