Job Description

Key Tasks include
* Manages end to end delivery of GPA strategy and automation initiatives
* Establish foundational and execution work streams for new strategic, automation and service improvement initiatives
* Works hand in hand with the Program Owner to ensure the program is successful and deliverables are on time
* Identifies work streams and builds program structure
* Reviews and revises work plan / milestones with development teams on at least a weekly basis
* Involves Domain and Technical architecture as appropriate into planning discussions and execution support
* Provides visibility to SMTs/STLTs and other senior managers / architects - progress, issues / risks, blockers, and other key indicators
* Establishes and manages working level Interaction model with program, development, and support teams
* Manages issues, risks and escalations from the program and project level via centralized tracker
* Ensures program consistency - execution / process templates, tracking structure, reporting, issues / blockers
* Manages and directs exception requests
* Defines cost saves and document cost impact for any delays from the financial baseline
* Communicates program strategy and objectives to stakeholders and work stream teams
* Run any automated reports used for the program
* Provide agenda for stakeholder meetings
* Provide meeting attendance, key meeting decisions and next steps/follow-ups for stakeholder meetings

* Host all program status meetings
* Executes KPIs

To be effective in this role, the candidate should possess the following qualities and skills:


  • 8-12 years minimum professional experience in a leadership role within an organization of similar complexity and size
    * Working knowledge of Automation solutions, cloud based technologies and frameworks
    * Working to deep knowledge of financial products through direct project work
    * Direct experience executing multi-dimensional development projects/programs with diverse technology stack and global deployments
    * Excellent problem solving skills, including the ability to grasp new concepts quickly, lead diverse partners toward reasonable recommendations, and prepare decisions in a logical fashion with supporting impact, to aid in timely decision making
    * Ability to develop and manage a comprehensive program plan and dependencies
    * Exposure to cloud based and automation technologies
    * Negotiation skills
    * Self starter, with an ability to lead and execute work with limited to no supervision
    * Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to understand detailed problem resolution discussions and condense pertinent facts for senior leadership
    * Proficiency with Microsoft office products (excel, ppt, word, MS Project)
