Emergency Room Nurse (RN) - Full-time

A health services network in North Carolina is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Emergency Room team at one of their facilities in Vance County. In this role, theEmergency Room Nurse (RN) willbe responsible for seeing, treating, and providing quality care to the patients of community suffering everything from flu and pneumonia to severe traumas.



Responsibilities:



The Emergency Room Nurse (RN) will:

• Providedirect and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation


• Meetthe physical, psychosocial, etc.needs of the patient and family


• Communicateeffectively with all members of the healthcare team about changes in the patients condition or response to treatment


• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of Emergency Room experience


• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program


• Current NC Registered Nurse (RN) license


• BLS certification


• ACLS and/or PALS certificationswithin 90 days of employment


• TNCC and EPNC within one year of hire


• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills


• Patient oriented


• Great interpersonal skills


• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)


• Strong attention to detail


• Highly organized
