Job Title: Data Technical Consultant/ ETL Developer

Location: Durham NC/Westlake TX 100% Onsite

Duration: 06+ Month Contract (Possible extension)

Job Description

• This role will lead Workplace Consulting data quality improvement efforts to optimize existing processes. You will create efficiencies by data mining, identifying data workflow improvements and database restructuring changes while integrating new technologies and creating standardized methodologies.

The Expertise You Have

• Extensive applied experience building, editing and reviewing ETL workflows using Informatica required
• Advanced SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases and data warehouses
• Applied experience reviewing and identifying ETL solution improvements in support of fully automated processes
• Proficiency in creating concise documentation and leading code changes to support Optimization and Efficiency improvements
• Demonstrated Experience with Python development and Python packages
• The Skills You Bring
• Familiarity with DB, DC, H&W and SPS products and their data storage (WIDE, DBR1, etc) is a plus
• Experience creating business processes and system workflows
• Demonstrated Experience supervising Functional/Code QA and regression testing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex and diverse issues requiring significant interpretation and attention to detail.
• Owning data driven projects from start to finish and completing them on time with a high degree of quality
• Comfortable identifying ways to create scalability and seek continuous product improvement
• You work well in teams and collaborate to solve problems while mentoring your peers to learn and grow
• You embrace continuous feedback do not hesitate to reach out for assistance
• You bring a level of excitement, enthusiasm and interest in learning new tools and better ways of doing things
• You are comfortable working with data and databases, including design considerations
• You understand existing solutions to identify the best tool (Informatica, Python, Stored Procedures, etc.) to implement the most appropriate strategy to ensure design meets performance, usability, reliability and scalability expectations
• A passion for finding creative solutions to complex problems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Must Have

• ETL workflow knowledge using Informatica (understand the Informatica process)
