Case Management Director (RN) - Full-time

A healthcare network in North Carolina is actively seeking an experienced, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team in Vance County as aCase Management Director. In this role, theCase Management Director (RN) will beresponsible for the departmental functions of case management, concurrent coding, utilization review, financial outcomes management, social work, and patient education.



Responsibilities:



TheCase Management Director (RN) will:

• Plan, coordinate, and directthe fiscal, personnel and patient care activities of the team


• Assure that standards of care and standards of practice are met as appropriate for the patient care needs and the age of the patient in as cost effective manner as possible


• Collaboratewith the Quality Management and Nursing Directors in promoting positive clinical outcomes


• Ensureintegration of the department into the overall functioning of the organization


• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Acute Care experience


• Associate's Degree in Nursing


• NC Registered Nurse (RN) license


• BLS certification


• Previous experience in a Supervisory role


• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills


• Patient oriented


• Great interpersonal skills


• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)


• Strong attention to detail


• Highly organized

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Nursing
