Essential Duties - Parts Manager:

  • Run a profitable and efficient RV Parts Department
  • Hire, train, and monitor staff performance
  • Work with the Service Manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs
  • Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the parts department.
  • Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that may affect parts sales
  • Direct and schedule the activities of all parts department employees
  • Monitor parts department employees' payroll records
  • Develop, enforce and monitor guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
  • Handle customer complaints immediately and according to the dealership's guidelines.
  • Establish and enforce a pricing policy that balances volume, customer loyalty, and the cost of doing business
  • Monitor and adjust inventory to minimize obsolescence

Qualifications Parts Manager:

  • Previous experience in an RV/Automotive parts department is preferred
  • Some sales experience is required
  • Previous experience in logistics, supply chain management, distribution a plus!
  • Experience with working with inventory, retail, grocery stores, or warehouses are a plus!
  • Previous experience in management or sales in an RV, Automotive, Motorsport dealership/shop is a PLUS!
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate the department profitably within dealership guidelines
  • Ability to use a computer, MS Office, and other office equipment
  • Requires continuous visual ability for use of computer, files, and reports
  • Ability to bend or sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • High school diploma
  • Valid driver's license
