RN/LPN Staff Development Coordinator

University Nursing and Rehab is looking for a dynamic RN/LPN with experience working in skilled nursing/long-term care to take on this management-level position.

RN STAFF DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide new employee orientation and in-service education.
  • Coordinate pre-employment screenings/testing.
  • Assist and conduct interviews for clinical positions.
  • Assess educational needs of center and provide education as needed.
  • Maintain appropriate records documenting attendance at orientations, in-services and CNA training programs.
  • Actively participate in the safety program for the facility.
  • Plan in-service education programs for all employees in collaboration with respective department head staff
  • Provide instruction to develop and improve overall quality of care.
  • Provide the Director of Nursing with monthly outlines of the planned educational programs.
  • Assist the Director of Nursing when necessary.

RN STAFF DEVELOPMENT COORDIANTOR REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current GA RN or LPN license
  • 1-2 years experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility
