Additional Information
The Driver is a front-line point of contact for our customers, and is responsible for delivering goods to our customers in a timely and courteous manner. Key roles, responsibilities and expectations include:• Safely operate 26’ Straight truck, lengths typically
• Use E-Log system
• Make deliveries to customers on assigned routes, with efficiency, accuracy, and courtesy using hand truck and lift gate deliveries
• Follow all State and Federal rules of the road and applicable DOT regulations
• Maintain current CDL A or B HazMat license, in good standing with DOT
• Communicate issues promptly, regarding order delivery, customer or product issues
• Assist in warehouse loading, mainly in special circumstances such as peak sales period
• (By law) Drivers must participate in random drug screening
Qualifications and Education Requirements
• Current CDL Class A or B license / Hazmat endorsement is required
• Prefer experience driving standard clutch box trucks with good driving record but will take new students from driving school.
• Monday thru Friday 1st shift only
• No weekends
• Uniforms
Preferred Skills
• Candidate must be comfortable communicating with customers on a daily basis, with a consistently positive manner, attitude and tone.
• Candidate must have attention to detail, to ensure delivery accuracy.
