At Printful, we achieve excellence because of our people. Thats why were looking for a team-oriented Human Resources (HR) Generalist to join our growing HR Team and work with teammates in our North Carolina and California locations. To fill this role, we need someone whos a multi-tasker, extremely perceptive, and capable of building relationships with a wide range of people at all levels within the company.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Maintaining all employee and applicant documentation as required by law

  • Coaching managers before carrying out disciplinary actions and tracking all disciplinary actions for NC and CA locations

  • Processing unemployment benefits claims and changes and attending unemployment hearings when necessary

  • Assisting with recruitment tasks when needed (e.g., reviewing applications, interviewing candidates)

  • Acting as an employee relations specialist and coordinating employee recognition programs

  • Assisting in monitoring absenteeism reports and ensuring those team members who are excessively late or absent receive proper documentation

  • Maintaining and distributing monthly KPI reports to the Director of HR

  • Maintaining personnel files (NC only), the employee phone list, benefits billing details, and approved absence requests

  • Managing the employment eligibility verification process for new teammates and periodically performing I-9 audits to ensure compliance with US law

  • Distributing performance evaluations and overseeing that theyre done on time

  • Reporting, monitoring, and maintaining workers compensation case files and following up on open cases

  • Assisting in the administration of payroll and benefits programs, including:

    • monitoring employee eligibility and reviewing benefits options

    • processing enrollment, payments, cancelations, and changes

    • communicating open enrollment and benefits election process for NC and CA

    • helping administer COBRA for group health plans

  • Working with IT and the Director of HR to maintain, update, and distribute permissions lists for employee system access

  • Performing other duties as assigned
