Inventory Clerk - Full-time

This Inventory Clerk Position Features:
Immediate need for inventory clerk
Receives, stores and issues materials, equipment and other items from stockroom while maintaining accurate records of inventory.

Responsibilities:
Issues materials and parts based on Bill of Materials or Request Slip
Receives, stocks and verifies contents of arriving packages
Updates inventory records in database when materials or parts are received or issued
Maintains accurate records for customer inventory on hand
Orders certain mechanical parts from in-house machine shop based on safety stock
requirement and shortage observed
Conducts cycle count and quarterly physical count to verify inventory records and finds root
cause of discrepancies if possible and corrects them
Keeps stockroom organized and clean
Monitors and replenishes supplies in janitors closet and break room
Assists Shipping & Receiving
Performs additional assignments and projects as requested by Management

Qualifications:
General computer skills, specifically in Excel, Word, and Outlook
Experience with multimeter preferred
Able to work well with a wide range of departments and people
Good oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of electronic components (e.g., diodes, capacitors, resistors)
