Asbestos Defense Litigation Associate Attorney - Full-time

I am actively recruiting for a well-established California law firm. They are seeking an Asbestos Defense Litigation Associate Attorneylicensed in California.

Responsibilities:

• Build case defenses and trial themes autonomously (but with available guidance)
• Supporting national trials and coordinating counsel teams to manage litigation nationwide for large corporate clients
• Analyzing the application of state and federal case and regulatory law to the facts of cases for pre-trial motions and other submissions
• Taking and defending lay, expert, and corporate representative depositions
• Drafting original motions and other litigation-related documents on complex matters
• Drafting discovery requests and responses to be exchanged with various parties
• Developing client relationships through oral and written communication

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of asbestos litigation experience is required
• Requires a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed in California
• Self-motivated individual with high energy willing to do whatever it takes to complete responsibilities on deadline
• Experience in billable work environment
• Superior written and oral communication skills with attention to detail

Benefits:
