Shipping Associate - Full-time

Nesco resource is hiring shipping associates in the Canonsburg PA area. This is a 1st shift role Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm. Associates will ensure that all items coming in from the picker are the correct parts and correct quantity based on customer specifications. Ensuring that product is shipped to customer in good condition, visually acceptable, and product is shipped in a timely manner according to customer due dates.

DUTIES:

• Check all items for quality and consistency in packaged product.
• Prepares shipments and packs items to ensure safe delivery.
• Prepares bill of lading; and checks items to be shipped against works orders to ensure quantities, destination, and routing are all correct.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor and may consist of assisting a peer department.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Deadline and detail oriented.
• Dependability, persistence, and time management skills.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 30 pounds.
• Manufacturing environment moderately constant loud noise.
