Sporting Goods Retail Cashier - Full-time / Part-time

This is not a remote position. The hired candidate will be required to to report to our physical location in Farmingdale, NY. 

MonkeySports is a high end specialty retailer of hockey, baseball and lacrosse equipment. We are looking for friendly experienced individuals to join our team in Farmingdale, NY. The ideal candidate will possess register and retail experience; knowledge of hockey, baseball or lacrosse a plus. We are currently accepting applications for part time and full time Retail Cashiers.

Qualifications

Perform register transactions with accuracy

Effectively suggest additional merchandise

Detail oriented

Possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills

Interact professionally with employees, customers and vendors

Excellent time management skills

Ability to multi-task

Able to work independently and follow instruction

Requirements

One year of cash handling experience

Weekend availability, as needed

Education

High school education or equivalent
