A bit about us:

We have an exciting opportunity for a strong Lead Flavor Compounder. 5:30am to 2pm.

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 5 years experience as a Lead Flavor Compounder with an established flavor manufacturer.

A Flavor Compounder is responsible for weighing and combining very concentrated flavor ingredients including natural essences, extracts, distillates and juice concentrates. Flavor Compounders ensure that safety guidelines are followed and that production takes place in a very detailed yet efficient manner. They follow precise instructions on formulas without deviation, and ensure that exact amounts of ingredients are weighed and mixed into commercial grade blending tanks. A Lead Flavor Compounder is a working compounder who provides training to the other compounders.

Job Details

Skills required are: team-work oriented; self-starter; dependable; responsible; attention to detail; good communication skills; able to have prolonged periods of standing and walking; ability to work in an alert and safe manner; ability to use a small hand held calculator for simple division; ability to communicate in English with co-workers in a respectful manner; ability to work overtime as needed; High School diploma or equivalent; experience preferred in a food manufacturing production environment.
