Admissions Nurse (RN) - Full-time

A health services organization in Connecticut is currently seeking a new, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing staff in Fairfield County as an Admissions Nurse.



Responsibilities:



TheAdmissions Nurse (RN) will be responsible for:

• Assessment of patients


• Identification of patient problems.


• Participating in the plan of care


• Implementing and evaluating the interventions to meet the patient's needs


• Providing and maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu


• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing


• CT Registered Nurse (RN) license


• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills


• Patient oriented


• Great interpersonal skills


• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)


• Strong attention to detail


• Highly organized

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing


• Experience in an Emergency Room and/or Crisis role/setting


• Psychiatric Nursing experience


• Experience working with the Acute Care, Dual Disorder and Eating Disorder patient populations
