IT Delivery Manager - Full-time

An education services company in Virginia is currently seeking an experienced IT professional to join their staff as their newIT Delivery Manager. In this role, theIT Delivery Managerwill be responsible forprimarily supporting the Data & Reporting technology team by bridging the implementation of roadmap initiatives, business enhancements, and recurring & ad hoc reporting needs.

Responsibilities:

TheIT Delivery Managerwill:

• Manage cross-functional implementation teams involving software development, infrastructure upgrades, COTS and SaaS implementations with in-house staff and external vendors
• Work with the Business teams to identify, analyze, and validate business process and technology requirements and benefits
• Facilitate technical project definition, requirements gathering, planning, execution, requirements support, and closure activities managing dependencies across project tasks and a broad range of stakeholders
• Provide oversight and guidance implementation projects of high importance maintaining control over time-sensitive matters and objectives
• Facilitate regular check-ins with business units, technical team, and external partners
• Maintain a detailed project plan for Data & Reporting activities and regularly provide inputs to the projects portfolio
• Track all demand and priorities and monitor and summarize progress of the approved portfolio; prepare and distribute weekly status reports
• Work closely with the training, governance and organizational change management SMEs to tailor materials and activities to individual stakeholder needs
• Participate in roadmap and innovation sessions to provide input to the shared services roadmap
• Gather and document solution requirements that are unambiguous, testable, and traceable; facilitate discussions with the right stakeholders to clarify scope
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of IT experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience with Data Management &Integration Solutions, Data Migration, and Data Platform technologies (e.g., PowerBI)
• Familiar with Data Hub concepts
• Demonstrated skills in Waterfall andAgile project delivery methods
• Deep understanding of business partners and customers thoughts and concerns regarding the use of our products and services
• Microsoft Office Suite proficient (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, Visio, Word, etc.)
• Solid problem solving and time management skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
