Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-time

A health services network in Virginia is looking to add a new, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to one of their facilities in Richmond.

Responsibilities:



The Registered Nurse (RN) will:

• Admitclients to the program,obtainPhysician's orders and ordermedications


• Complete medically related assessments,including taking vital signs.


• Conductcomprehensive medical and psychiatric review for Region IV hospitalized clients


• Facilitatepsycho-educational groups for patients.


• Drawblood and performurine drug screens; labelspecimens via computer printout


• Maintainthorough documentation of daily activities including nursing and treatment services.


• Coordinate, scheduleand ensureappropriate level of nursing services to clients, includingmonitoring, administration and documentation of injections, vena punctures and other nursing services


• Schedulelab tests, injections and electrocardiograms; rescheduleappointments missed by clients with the Case Manager


• Respondto medical emergency situations and calls emergency medical services for consumers and staff when warranted


• Enterdata into computer database for new clients; updateclient data when needed; and, researchclient information/insurance status


• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing


• VA Registered Nurse (RN) license


• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills


• Patient oriented


• Great interpersonal skills


• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)


• Strong attention to detail


• Highly organized
