Staffmark is looking for a 2nd shift supervisor for a warehouse distribution center in Groveport, Ohio.The primary purpose of this position is overall daily and consistent account operations management (supervising associates, supervising the receiving of product, and ensuring everyone is adhering to company policies and procedures). Position would be required to work Monday-Friday 12pm-8:30pm with some overtime as needed.

- Accountable for execution of a client-specific operations, policies, and procedures.
- Key Client Performance Indicators and metrics must be understood, tracked, recorded, and funneled consistently into meaningful internal data flow and reporting tools
- Dedicated management includes training, coaching and counseling of the workforce in accordance with all HR and statutory policies and procedures
- Strong emphasis on health, safety, and environmental goals with the assistance of a dedicated account team
- Leads daily execution of account specific and proactive strategies ensuring maximum return on operating expenses
- Serves as an escalation point for service issues and is responsible for positive and proactive conflict resolution
- Expected to be personable and approachable, while maintaining business-like comportment in all daily interaction
- Development and participation in the preparation of routine business reviews
- Responsible for maintaining accurate and timely weekly payroll.
- Responsible for other duties as assigned
Required Skills
- Proven ability to lead and develop others, build relationships, communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and demonstrate a strong internal/external customer focus and business acumen
- Demonstrate a strong team orientation with all levels of employees and leadership
- Strong technical proficiency (i.e., computer skills) to the extent all electronic internal data flow including hiring, payroll, reporting, and other job-critical functions can be managed early and often
- Previous leadership in a warehouse/distribution center is preferred.
