POSITION OVERVIEW
The Configuration Analyst manages product structure trees to define the BOMs (Bill of Materials) of new and existing products; Optimizes product structure to ensure documentation of product configuration over time and for configuration variances.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with Manufacturing Engineers, Planners, Production and Purchasing to develop accurate system Manufacturing BOMs (Bill of Materials) for materials demand and production kitting to match Work Instructions, ensuring On-Time Delivery.
Collaborate and produce system BOMs for CFRs (Condition Found Report) and other repetitive modifications and discrete orders.
Ensure configuration record timeline and traceability by product order.
Defines the configurations and options to be used by Business Development/ Sales to fill orders.
Align Manufacturing BOMs to design data by configuration and when design changes are approved, flowing changes to BOMs and affected system orders.
Collaborates with teams to continuously improve processes and reduce waste.
Drives standardization of items/ product to reduce complexity of product design, configuration, build and cost.
As a Configuration Analyst, you will manage obsolescence of released/legacy Manufacturing BOMs
You will be responsible for seamless and rapid implementation of components, BOMs, documents, and other product data supporting the business strategies and supply chain requirements.
You must be motivated to work in a data driven environment, have a desire to analyse systematic issues and implement solutions to challenging problems.
Experience working with teams in multiple locations and time zones.
TASKS/DETAILS:
ERP/ MRP detailed, continual tasks for item/ warehouse/ BOM/ Order structures with related group owners.
Daily updating/ reporting for transparent processes. Automation collaboration with IT for repetitive work.
Metrics development and reporting.
Create, maintain, and revise configuration files.
Create, solicit, and track improvement needs and ideas.
Execution with multiple projects and deadlines, proactive communication of needs & challenges.
Develop work instructions of developed processes to ensure repeatability

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
BS/BA degree preferred in related fields of Computer Science, Business Management, Engineering or similar.
Knowledge of working with different ERP/MRP/PLM systems
APICS or similar Operations Management Certificate preferred.
BOM (Bill of Materials) creation and BOM Maintenance Experience
Attention to detail and ability to work on complex configurations

Pay Range : $70,000 - $130,000
