Job Details for Receiving Clerk:

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Pay Rate: $18/hour
  • Location: Burr Ridge, IL (On-Site)

Job Responsibilities & Description for Receiving Clerk:

  • Accepts and signs for deliveries
  • Compares packing lists to company purchase orders and ensures that the products in each delivery match the packing list
  • Maintains records of all received shipments
  • Conducts inventory of products, and logs data into inventory database
  • Address and answer Customer Service inquiries about pending orders and shipments
  • Uses dollies, pallet jacks, and other moving equipment to transport shipments from loading dock for inspection
  • Opens boxes and inspects contents of shipments, ensuring no items are damaged

Job Requirements for Receiving Clerk:

  • Must be organized and detailed oriented
  • Must have prior warehouse experience
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must have strong computer, typing, and communication skills
  • Microsoft Word and Outlook knowledge required
