Job Details

Qualifications:

JD from an ABA accredited Law School
3+ years insurance defense litigation experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to think strategically and good negotiation skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Outlook, TABS and Abacus softwares a plus

Responsibilities:

Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end
Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects
Prepare pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions and briefs in support of defense strategies
Provide effective and timely communications, information, legal advice, status reports and other services to clients and claims on legal and factual issues
Responsible for the prompt, efficient and effective disposition of assigned cases
Independently prepares and presents witnesses and evidence at trials, judicial and administrative hearings, arbitrations and mediations
