Our client, a new hospital located in northern SC, about 30 mins from Charlotte, NC, has a need for a Director of Womens Services to join their BRAND-NEW location. The hospital has only been open for about 4 months!

This role provides leadership and support to the senior executive position (CNO) responsible for all nursing and other designated patient care functions/services within the hospital organization. The role will assume responsibility for assisting in assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice on a multi-unit level. Role assumes 24/7 responsibility of Directors assigned areas. The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

  • Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
  • Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
  • Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
  • Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
  • Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
  • Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree (BSN) required. Masters Preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in hospital nursing required.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, ENPC, Fetal Monitoring
  • Registered Nurse Current licensure as Registered Nurse in South Carolina or Compact State.

Salary range is $100,000 to $187,000 plus a $20,000 sign on bonus.
