Delivery Driver for Food Subscription Service - Seattle - Excellent Pay, Great Benefits! FT and PT - Part-time

Staffmark is hiring experiencedLocal Delivery Driversfor a major foodsubscriptionservice inKent Washington. (Seattle area)
Pay:
Base of $23.00 with potential to earn up to $26.50 / hour based on qualifying metrics!
OT after 40 hours

Shift:
7:00 AM start time; shifts are usually 10 to 12 hours long.
3-4 day work week (flexibility needed as most schedules include one weekend day)

We can also offer part time weekend shifts but must work the entire route 10-12 hours

We supply the vehicles and gas card!
We will also train you! (vehicle, operations, safety etc)

Job Description:

• Deliver small boxes/packages that weigh up to 35 pounds.
• Local routes are typically within a 100-mile radius of the warehouse.
• 6 months prior Delivery Driver experience required.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Operate a Cargo Van / Sprinter Van to deliver products to customers in an assigned route
• Deliver between 80-120 boxes daily
• Understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned delivery vehicle
• Transport boxes of perishable items, perform accurate deliveries, manage schedules and ensure accurate inventory counts
• Maintain proper delivery logs and handheld records
• Confirm contents of each shipment load matches the manifest document
• Communicate with dispatch as needed

Requirements:

• Must be at least 22 years old
• 6+ months of previous job related driving experience
• • This site DOES require the 6 months previous Sprinter Van, Box Truck, or similar experience
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
• Have a clean driving record
• Can work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• CDL & Trucker experienceNOTrequired! Must have experience operating a van, box truck or larger vehicle
