About this job
Pride Healthis hiring aMedical Scribefor one of our clients in Mansfield,TXfor a contract role of 6 months with possible extension.
Schedule:Monday Friday, 8:00 am- 5:00 pm (40 hours/week)
Responsibilities
- Documentation and billing.
- Assists patients as needed with walking, transfer, specimen collection, exam preparation, etc.
- Completes provider orders per clinical functions by position.
- Proper, concise and complete EMR documentation and paper based documentation for all clinical assessments and procedures.
- Comply with and follow policies and procedures as outlined by medical center.
- Complete patient referrals daily.
- Other duties as assigned such as new models of care and new types of procedures, etc.
- Communicate to provider when chart is complete and ready for review and sign off.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- 2 years clinical experience in related field such as a scribe or medical assistant
